With Big Brother soon to hit our screens with a celebrity version coming first, it it me thinking about what I would take in if I was going to be a housemate. With the weather being so miserable an the limit of one suitcase, what do you pack? We’re use to seeing the housemates lounge about in the sun but i’m not so sure the sun will shine!

Nadine Coyle of Girls Aloud is alleged to have signed a £500,000 deal to appear in Big Brother 2012, which hits our screens on August 15th. According to the Daily Mail, she is said to be keen to earn the money to clear her US tax bill, due to her failing LA bar. With a reunion tour due, clearing her debts and trying to win some of the UK back as fans, it seems like a great plan – or is it?
Big brother is notorious for trying to give the great British public a laugh at other peoples expense. With our world renowned politeness, it’s no wonder we like to laugh at people from the privacy of our own homes. And we like nothing more than laughing at celebrities!

I got a voucher on groupon for Myscara, a semi permanent mascara application. As I was going on holiday I thought this would be perfect – wrong! The application took about an hour but I was concerned that no patch test was done. When I looked in the mirror I was quite shocked. I looked like a teenager who has used her mum’s mascara for the first time. I have long eyelashes and the tops and bottoms had stuck together. I had to take scissors to my eyes and try to cut them apart. This meant that the bit I’d cut off was brushing against my eye. Not sore but it made it really red. It doesn’t fade over time, you have I wait for your lashes to fall out. As they were all clumped together, I could have 3 loose but still attached by a couple of lashes. It looks awful. I’ve tried 4 oil based removers, including a super strength one from Clinique and still nothing. It looks ridiculous if you put mascara over the top but I think this does help a bit when you remove it. My advice, don’t bother. Either get them dyed or stick to extensions. It’s fine for a week but when they fall out it looks terrible.

Dear bingo blog, now that the big winter freeze is on it’s way, I’ve been looking at which online bingo games are offering good promotions to get us through to summer 2013.
